iGrant.io, the first Swedish MyData Operator establishes a human-centric approach to data sharing

The MyData Operator award was created by the nonprofit MyData Global community. The award acknowledges organisations which provide consent management and other tools, ensuring an equitable share of the benefits from the commercial exchange of individuals’ personal data.
This whitepaper, where iGrant.io founders are key contributors, provides insights to what a MyData Operator is. It focuses on practical aspects of technology and data governance to improve the operation of human-centric infrastructures for personal data management, with the goal of establishing full interoperability between operators.
The paper describes the roadmap towards a human-centric personal data infrastructure. In a collaborative effort of 34 experts and supported by 48 personal data operators from 15 countries, a joint starting point for interoperability was established.
