Example scenario: Automated parking lot management system.

During an entry to the parking lot, Charlotte is issued a parking permit.

On exit, the parking permit is verified, for e.g. to open the automated access gate.
Charlotte visits the parking lot.
Using the Data Wallet, Charlotte registers to the parking lot by scanning the QR code provided at the entry point.
- CLICK the “Share Data” from the Data Wallet home screen
- SCAN the QR code (provided to the right of this text)
- CLICK “Connect” to connect to the XYZ Parking Lot
The green tick mark indicates that the XYZ Parking Lot is connected to your Data Wallet
The Parking Lot issues the Parking permit to the mobile device
- by FILLING OUT the form to the right (a so called form based issue).
NOTE: The form schema (what fields are included in the form) is optimised based on the purpose.
A notification is now sent to Charlotte's Data Wallet.
Charlotte sees there is a notification and pushes the bell-shaped notification icon at the top left of the app.
The Parking Permit appears on the screen, which Charlotte accepts and now holds in her Data Wallet.
Charlotte is ready to exit the parking lot and is requested to share the parking permit at the toll gate mechanism.
- CLICK the “Share Data” from the home screen
- SCAN the QR code (provided to the right of this text)
- CLICK the confirm button to share the parking permit
Parking Lot XYZ receives Charlotte's Parking Permit, verifies its authenticity.
